A common question among accountants is ‘What is the main compelling reason for businesses to move to Fusion Accounts?’
Although there are many associated benefits of moving to a web-based application, i.e. it saves time, reduces costs, free upgrades provided, free support, etc, the most common reason which has urged our clients to move is the fact that it is’ Web based’.
With traditional desktop accounting software ease of access to accounting data is not a given whereas with web-based applications the data can be accessed, worked on, whenever and wherever. All one needs is an internet enable PC with a broadband connection.
In these challenging times it has become crucial for businesses to be able to access real-time accounting information as managing cash flow is the key to survival.
Within our own company we migrated from Sage Accounts. One of the benefits for us is that our sales team now have their own log in to Fusion which means that they can directly create their own invoices within the system, from any location. Multi user access allows us to grant access rights so that these users can only see what they need to see. This also helps to prevent mistakes from being made and cuts down on the re-keying of data.
